The OBC team is a motivated group of individuals with a common goal: to make a positive impact in their communities. Our team is made up of former college athletes, young business professionals, and men who are full-time husbands and fathers. Despite our diverse backgrounds, we all share a passion for giving back and making a difference in the world.
One of the things that sets OBC apart is our Board of Directors. Our Board is among the youngest nonprofit Boards in the country, which brings unique strengths and perspectives to the table. Our members and operators bring a fresh perspective and a powerful willingness to try new things, which has helped us to be more creative and innovative in our approach to addressing community needs.
At OBC, we pride ourselves on the impactful connections and relationships we make. We know that we can't do this work alone, and we are always looking for new partnerships and collaborations that can help us to achieve our goals. There are so many powerful organizations and associations all over the state of Florida that are fighting the same fight and heading towards the same goals as us. By working together, we can make an even greater impact and achieve even more than we could on our own.
Our team's strengths are our ability to be creative, innovative, diligent, and driven. When we decide that a project is going to be a good fit for us, we go full steam ahead until its completion. We are not afraid to take risks and try new things, and we are always looking for ways to improve and do better.
One of the most important components of our team is our group of volunteers and Field Operations Contributors. These individuals are crucial to our success, and we are always looking for new members to join our team. We hope to build an internal community of like-minded individuals who are passionate about making a difference and who can contribute to our efforts in a positive way. By working together, we can make a real impact in our communities and make a difference in the world.
