Leadership in Florida Conservation

Matt Demasi is a resident of Sarasota, FL, where he lives with his wife Sabrina. The two were married in late 2022. Matt works full time as a commercial insurance advisor, providing large insurance packages to companies and organizations around southwest Florida. 

Matt attended Bridgewater College in Virginia, where he played football and graduated with a BBA in Organizational Management. 

Although he has lived in Florida for less than 5 years, Matt has quickly become a prominent member of the community and brings a wealth of connections and networking ability to OBC.  

In addition to his work as a commercial insurance advisor, Matt volunteers as a board member for the Florida Marine Contractors Association and is a community member for the Coastal Conservation Association of Florida. He is dedicated to giving back to his community and is a valuable asset to OBC.

In his role as a board member for the Florida Marine Contractors Association, Matt plays a key role in advocating for the interests of marine contractors in the state of Florida. He works closely with other members of the board to identify and address issues facing the industry, and helps to develop strategies for promoting the growth and success of marine contractors in the state.

As a community member for the Coastal Conservation Association of Florida, Matt is committed to protecting and conserving the state's coastal resources. He works closely with other members of the association to educate the public about the importance of conservation and to advocate for policies that support the sustainable use of Florida's coastal ecosystems. Matt's contributions to the association have been instrumental in raising awareness about the need to protect and preserve Florida's coastal environments.
